  • 1998 - 2004 head of the section dental fear management and dental care for the disabled of the Foundation of Special Dental Care (Stichting voor Bijzondere Tandheelkunde, SBT) in Amsterdam.
  • Since 1990 member of the board of directors of the SBT.
  • 1989 – co-founder of the SBT.
  • Since 1981 – manager/ senior lecturer of the annual post-graduate course on nitrous oxide sedation at the University of Amsterdam.
  • 1978 – start of career in the field of special dental care.
  • 1977 – PhD at the University of Amsterdam.
  • 1969 – department Cariology, Endodontology and Pedodontology , University of Amsterdam.
  • 1964 – graduated as dentist at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands.
